  •  Hi Luke -- I saw your group after I started mine -- hopefully we'll be able to share :-)

  •  The dynamic science of sound and vision, interpersonal communications, and the language of media is a great study--expands my mind and keeps me learning. Looking for a mentor to work under in audio video editing for audio projects, video projects, (any type of production). It has been pointed out and I see it in myself that I have a unique talent of focusing on audio tracks without distraction from video running simultaneously. It was a nice surprise hidden talent, just needs to be tapped.

  •  Hi, Luke. I have always had a passion for audio editing ever since I was eight years old, creating transitions from song to song with my combination am-fm/single deck recorder. Ever since then, I have developed a critical ear for sound. My passion grew into an interest in majoring radio and tv, film courses, and studying communications between people, popular cultures, and how forms mass media still ads, tv, radio, affect society, and influence from society reflected through media.

  •  Hi Luke,

Thanks for the welcome. I'm interested in attending sometime. I learned about this meeting through the Arlington Town list.

I bought Reason a couple of years ago when my daughter starting taking piano lessons (and eventually quit). I started to dable with Reason and wanted to learn more. Have played guitar for many years.

    Best,
    Joe

  •  Hi Luke. I primarily work with Analog synthesis. I am building some analog
synthesis modules (white noise and analog filter). I also plan to build a digital
oscillator. Some of the circuits have done are at http://tinyurl.com/6jm8tu

  •  Thanks Luke. I've heard a lot about you from your coworkers and mine, all terrible of course, haha.

It's actually just sort of a top down lotus. You can get a better idea for what it looks like, albeit on my buddy David rather than me, here: http://photos-e.ak.facebook.com/photo...

I'm part of a group called Peace. Love. Human. that's a ridiculous offshoot of Juan Mann's Free Hug movement, and we all went and got the logo one day.

  •  Hi Luke, I have a deadline for a website I am developing at the moment, so I would have to have a lot done by Wed in order for me to come this month! I am trying, but it is a complicated website!
    Thanks for your shout. Nan

  •  Luke,

Thank you for the kind and warm welcome. I plan to attend the next meeting with the others at my company. I have not coded since I finished college in 1995, so I will be mostly listening.

  •  Luke: I presented to BostonPhP.

"Join BostonPHP and Cliff Hirsch (owner Pinestream Communications) as he describes the journey of a bootstrapped, entrepreneurial OSS development effort that seems to have followed "the flight path of a house fly".

Presentation was "idea to inception for a consumer web app that I have been developing for the past few years using LAMP. Often think about how it would have gone had I known about Rails when I started. Slides are on the bostonphp site.
