“Looks Good, Works Well” – that’s the title of Bill’s blog and as web designers, that should be our bottom line goal for web application interfaces. Learn the basic design principles & practices from Bill Scott, someone who has been there, done that. The design principles, which guide his work at NetFlix, include: 1) Make it Direct; 2) Keep it Lightweight; 3) Stay on the Page… He will discuss all 6 principles and the design patterns that implement those principles. Bill’s experience in UI design will soon be expressed in an upcoming O’Reilly book, so join us for this meeting and get the information first-hand.
