A night with Dr. Nic and his magic

Hi All,

The Brisbane Ruby Brigade (BRB) is organising another meeting for early December 2006, most likely on Monday the 4th.

If you are a member of the BRB, you will have seen the recent post by Dr. Nic stating he would like to meet with some Brisbane Rubyists.

As Dr. Nic is a well-known Australian Ruby on Rails (RoR) developer, this would be an excellent opportunity to hear from him and get some first-hand perspective of the future of RoR.

We also have one of our locals, Ben Myles, who also offered to give a demonstration and he is giving us, the group, the choice to choose which Rails related topic he will present.

Update: 23/11/06

Paul has received confirmation from IIB regarding access. The timings for the evening will be 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Unfortunately we cannot stay longer at that location but Paul has recommended we all go to a nearby pizza place for some food, drinks and chat.

We have a timeslot at the IIB from 6:00-7:30pm. However, you'll need to arrive before 5:45pm as that's when the automatic door locks kick in (let's just say we'll have a captive audience!). We will send out a search party just after 6 to pick up any stragglers - just wait downstairs.
