You are cordially invited to the first get together of the Silicon Valley Ruby on Rails meetup group. Come meet fellow Rails developers, ask and answer questions, share your experiences with the platform, and have some pizza and drinks courtesy of Insider Pages. Google gives pretty good directions: http://maps.google.co... Basically you go down Bridge Pkwy, look for a sign that says "2000-2600 Bridge Pkwy" with an arrow, turn right at the sign, and look for our 2200 building which will be on your right a little ways in (past the tree). Check the photos section for a picture of our office.
I really enjoyed the presentations. The turnout was phenomenal.

Great job guys! The venue/pizza/presenter were all great. I am interested in more talks like the substruct and authorization one, maybe more in depth talks on things like Advanced ActiveRecord tricks etc.

Presentation probably could have been stronger in that it would have been nice to have an in depth preso about one topic and then the more overview ones. Perhaps something structured as a workshop kind of thing as well. Overall, enjoyed the event.

I liked that there were 3 different presenters - it broke up the evening and provided a nice variety.

It went really smoothly, especially for such an ad-hoc event. The presenters all had time, and we got to mingle a little bit before getting started. I was pretty impressed.

good range of presenters (basic scaffold app, general plugin, engine for full commercial deployment system) it's great to see how many different things people are doing with rails!
