I just registered the domain name 'mainegems.org'. You can think of this as the analog of 'mainejug.org' or 'mainebytes.org',
which are themselves useful "brochure sites" for some of the other MESDA interest areas (java and .net). I'll try to donate this
to MESDA and transfer it to their DNS vendor.

Please don't feel compelled to use the name, it's more of a placeholder while the group gets organized. I just figured I'd make
a quick, cheap contribution early so I don't volunteer for much later.

Thanks Mike, I suppose thats something we should look into huh. :)

As far as I know we will be responsible for our own web site no matter what the involvment MESDA, so we'll have to get something together. (MESDA may or may not help out with the funding, not sure there)

Hopefully you'll be at the meeting and we can discuss some of this stuff tonight.
