Introduction
Hi -- I'm an Assistant Professor of Math and Computer Science at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA. I have not used Ruby but I'm eager to.

Dittos the previous: ****I'll just endorse once more the sentiment I've expressed before: "The bottom line is that programmers are a rare species and when they get together the energy is terrific -- gotta be there!" Even when I don't understand everything I get a great 'you gotta google this list.'**** Since this was the picnic should mention a couple of nice young fellows who were enjoying the BBQ, and the cutest little blond who fell off the step and didn't even cry ... maybe two or three years old?? Picnics are fun!
