Dittos the previous: ****I'll just endorse once more the sentiment I've expressed before: "The bottom line is that programmers are a rare species and when they get together the energy is terrific -- gotta be there!" Even when I don't understand everything I get a great 'you gotta google this list.'****

Pretty informative and there is a wide array of people from different backgrounds. Oh yeah I knew I forgot to mention what prototype has to do with Ruby. Prototype is bundled with rails if i'm not mistaken (?) and plays VERY nicely with rails, also the syntax is similar to ruby and has functionality like sending blocks of code to say array.each for a colletion of items. I have also uploaded the source code presented in the "FILES" section of this site. www.MonstarOnline.com is site shown and www.prototypejs.org for prototype. deepest apologies to the Mock presentation.

Anyone wishing to learn to use Ruby or to enhance their programming skills should join this group. The members of this group are interested only in sharing their knowledge, helping others, and at the same time, gaining new knowledge themselves from the interactions in the group. I have never met a group like this before.

Hi, guys. Thanks for the warm welcome yesterday. It was fun and informative, and definitely worth the trip from Reston. I'll be back! ;)
